Whether installing new cable or troubleshooting existing, every link is measured — length, wiremap, attenuation, NEXT, DC loop resistance and return loss. As networks evolve, so do the standards; we test to the current ones, on copper and on fibre.
This is what handover looks like on every job: the wiremap checked pair by pair, the measurements taken, and a verdict you can file. Press the button.
Optical network problems are most often caused by dirty or damaged endface connectors. Accurate testing starts with a Fibre Inspection Probe capable of seeing scratches and dirt particles as small as 1 µm — on patch cords, patch panel bulkheads, single-mode and multi-mode connectors.
Images are captured to a portable platform or PC, and full reports present clear-cut pass/fail verdicts before a single test result is signed off.
If the question is bigger than one link — slow networks, unknown specifications, out-of-date schematics — a site audit brings the whole infrastructure back into the light.
Call the office, or tell us about the site — a survey costs nothing.
